About The Studio..........
Blue Rock Bakery (BRB) is owned and operated solely by myself. My name is Ed Kinder. I was born in 1949 and have been involved in music at one level or another since I was 14 years old. I have always been interested in recording and built a Tascam 8 track tape-based studio in Sarasota in the 1980's which I operated for several years. Like so many others, I turned my attention to the digital domain in the 90's and a built a computer- based recording studio in my home.
BRB began in 1999 as a singer/songwriter service, but soon became involved in demo production for a local publishing company and full CD project management for local musicians.
In January of 2005 BRB moved into it's current facility which is a stand-alone structure employing standard sound studio design elements.
Mid-grade professional would be a good way to describe our setup. The studio itself is nearly 300 sq. ft. which means it accommodates a 4 or 5 piece band comfortably enough. The control room is spacious, and there are playback monitors in both the studio and the control room.
